Steph, whom I met in Berlin, came running up the stairs a little late to her 5th floor flat, which had no elevator.
Her eyes were earnest, and her posture was straight. Her words were sincere, and she stood firmly in her life as her true self.
I was a little proud to realize that the blouses I designed could coexist beyond nationality, body shape, and age.

The photoshoot progressed as we conversed and moved together on the spot.
After a beautiful moment, I wanted to know what was in the depths of her eyes, and the core of her body and mind, so I asked her a few questions.

As I continue to research dance, clothing and aesthetics are significant factors, especially in some traditional folk dances. In a way, clothing is a tool that allows one to curate a worldview and identity.
How one moves.
What one's style is.
Fashion influences me. I am also interested in the expansion of common elements between fashion and dance.
For example, Studio Wayne McGregor Random Dance explores this, and here in Berlin, TRAUMABARUNDKINO hosts events related to the extension of fashion and dance. (As of August 2019)

My mind and body are undoubtedly intertwined, and the act of moving my body and stretching has a clear relationship with my mental health and how I feel.
Dance helps me release stress and trauma from my body.
For me, the most important thing is to be deeply present in the moment when I am moving my body.
